Background
The Payson Wharton Legacy Society was established to honor Ms. Joan Payson and Mr. Irving Wharton and to acknowledge and honor our most generous friends who have provided for the health system through planned and deferred gifts.

Membership Requirements

In order to become a member, an individual must make a planned gift of any size to any North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System hospital, center, or department and notify us of such gift. Donors will be asked to provide some documentation of the gift.

Members’ names will appear in the NS-LIJ Health System Annual Report and possibly other venues (web site, newsletter, etc.). Requests for anonymity will be honored.

There are many benefits, both tangible and intangible, of being a member:
